One family supply
Golden Valley almonds come exclusively from Sandhu family orchards. That direct connection gives our processing team a clear line of sight to the crop and gives buyers a straightforward source relationship.
How we work
Product moves through a defined sequence from family orchards to the final release, with custom re-sorting available when the specification requires it.
Supply originates with Sandhu family farming operations.
Incoming product enters a controlled lot-identification path.
A defined cleaning sequence prepares kernels for optical sorting.
Every kernel lot passes through three Satake EVOLUTION and two FENIX sorters.
Custom re-sort loop availableX-ray, metal detection, inspection, and lot documentation.
Product is matched to the order, packed, and prepared for dispatch.
Two vision sorters add RGB and infrared inspection within the sequence.
Three full-color optical sorters evaluate color, shape, and visible defects.
Quality & traceability
Controls are designed to keep the product, its specification, and its documentation connected from receiving through shipment.
Lot identity is maintained through processing and final pack.
X-ray and metal detection support the final control sequence.
Domestic product is pasteurized through a third-party provider.

About Golden Valley
The Sandhu family founded Golden Valley Almonds in 2025 to add focused kernel processing capacity to its California almond operations.
The company operates from the former Montpelier Nut Co. facility in Denair—a plant with roughly three decades of almond-processing history. Today, Golden Valley pairs that established setting with hands-on leadership, modern sorting, and a direct link to Sandhu family orchards.
Leadership
Golden Valley's hands-on leadership stays close to the plant, the product, and the buyer relationship.
